yeah, there is this idea of "ownership." no one owns anything. you are just renting it until you die. That's just a simple fact.
the only thing you really can own is your life. There is this lionization of ownership that perverts the nature of decent humanity.
There was this Egyption poet-author, whose name I can't remember, that I heard on Fresh Air some years ago, that made this comment in some amazing desert brogue that I will never forget: "The kings and princes look upon their lands, and declare how great they are, while the stones in the desert laugh at them."
