Thats not really a comic.

And Bernie CONSTANTLY fought for more funding so he could actually take care of the veterans instead of turning them away. Thats his plan for federal health care too, actually give it proper funding so it really would take care of people instead of just pissing away money for no reason.

Of course, I still intend to vote Libertarian this year.

The VA system actually works for the vast majority of veterans. There are problems, but hey, when your only goal for government is to shrink it, expect problems. Especially when you don't fund essential services for veterans, because we need to continue burning money on useless shit like the F-35.

Actually no, it doesnt, actually. Actually it sucks balls for most of them.
The statistics they use to claim they take of people are simplified beyond belief. If someones name is taken down and not misspelled TOO badly, it qualifies as them being "taken care of". If that veteran later dies in the waiting room it doesnt count against them.

The system is shamefully bad and these days they put most of their effort into covering up the mess.

Actually, objectively, it often outperforms private health care providers.

Beware! Link is to Forbes, so clearly it's extremely libruul biased.

I dont need Forbes. Its a secondary source. I have myself as a primary source as well as hundreds of Vets.

If you dont know, please dont spread misinformation. Theres nothing that irks me more than somebody who is obviously lying to my face.

Ah, yes. The anecdata is the plural of data argument.

Your experience isn't the vast majority's experience, regardless of how strongly you feel about it.
