Someone needs to explain to them that the principles of monarchy and liberty are fundamentally opposed to each other. Wharton is Trump's alma mater BTW.

Not clear to me whether they are making a distinction between absolute monarchy and constitutional monarchy. I feel that the trouble with a constitutional monarchy is that it tends to turn into an incredibly tedious reality-TV show.

But is this not Locke vs Hobbes all over again? Seems a strange line for a libertarian to take, given that classical liberalism was formed directly in opposition to monarchism.
