These results are interesting.
Do you think OTHERS are apt to see themselves accurately? (Total Votes: 64)

Yes 14 votes 21.88 (%)
No 50 votes 78.13 (%)

Do you think YOU see yourself accurately? (Total Votes: 64)

Yes 41 votes 64.06 (%)
No 23 votes 35.94 (%)

Why do we distrust others judgement so much? It's interesting to think about since living in a free society/democracy requires trusting your fellow citizens to a certain extent.
It reminds me of the answers often given to these questions:
Who should make important decisions in YOUR life? You or the government?
Who should make important decisions in the lives of OTHERS? Themselves or the government?

YOUR POST WREAKS OF COMMUNISIM 😉

On the other end of the spectrum I imagine a teenager, who is short, fat, posts anonymously in P&N, revealing little/nothing about themselves, is not well socialized and will spend the remainder of their days as a drag on society & be the person everyone talks about, not to.

Hey! Assh0le!

I'm not a teenager!
😛

I think the problem here, is the "average"
I answered every question in a manner that would make me out to be a narcissist, but because the average person is slightly more advanced than a 99th percentile ape, I think I'm probably correct, even though I am certainly no acme of human perfection.

God, what a self-indulging jerk-off session for everyone this poll is, who thinks they are better than average of anyone else. Get a grip back on your ego, not your penis!

I voted no on the questions that asked if I considered myself to be smarter, better looking, etc than the average. I do make more money that the US average income.

I have noticed in similar polls, more than 50% of the respondents think they are smarter, better looking, etc than average, which does not make sense to me.

Yeah. People tend to overestimate themselves relative to other people.

I guess we're just brought up to distrust other people's motives, especially the ones we don't know. Otherwise, in the real world, we'd get fvked.
