Hey manimal, thanks for asking
Just went through 5 more chemo treatments and got 4 days of I think just steroids left
Haven't been great, but I'm making my way through.
I'm really hoping to get out of the hospital after the steroids for awhile.
Thanking gawd for family and friends.

Course peeking in here helps kill the time too :)

Good to hear man, hope the nausea isn't too bad..

I just got out of the hospital as well for something much less daunting, had one of my salivary glands stop working and started creating stones-ala gall stones-. The stones were too large and caused the gland to die and take a bunch of tissue with it. The scars on the side of my face have caused my wife to nickname me frankenstein....

Worst and best part of the two week stay in hospital was my netbook with AT and the Morphine button which ended being a dilaudid button..I reread some of my posts from the last few weeks and I honestly dont ever remember writing them....

When the swelling goes down on my face Ill try to get you guys a pic....

Well I'm 30 now, so while I'm not exactly aged, I'm also not entirely young anymore. What can I say, I have a young face. Normally I look like a fully functional adult, just not after spending a few months in Southeast Asia all Heart of Darkness style. Thanks for the kind words though!

I wanted to reinforce the stereotype of the pot smoking librul communist hippie. That, and most of my other pictures have my friends in them, and I don't want to put them up for internetting.

Everyone needs to understand that doctors are not G-d, they cannot give you X number of years/months/weeks to live. I hope your prognosis is good, but don't let any doctor's pessimism get you down.

Been through my share of shit (not medically before I suppose though) and wouldn't let one prognosis get to me.

But im thinking what would really help save me is a pic of say spidey or pj or um I'll think of more. ;)

Get well soon. Theres a pic of me and my wife in L&R in one of the pic threads. Give you something to do while you in bed, going to hunt it down if you so care. I'm ugly, but the woman in the pic not so much.

Cancer sucks. Watched my mother go through it last year. Stay strong.
