i was mantaining my parents/sister's computer.. it's a 600 mhz dell. when i got to it..

it hadnt been defragged in 327 days.
it hadnt had an error check in 327 days.

(both of these are the last time i was on the computer)

also, that was when last spybot was run.

i clicked on the start menu, at 1024x768, the programs menu is 2.5 screens long. i had to do a find item on the start menu just to find spybot. it was in 1.1, i know i should have downloaded 1.2, but i didnt.

i did however, delete 3/4 the games on the computer. (baldurs gate, dungeon siege, counterstrike, etc etc etc)

so before they were running out of space, now they have about 1/3 of the hard drive clear.

oy... people who dont know how to use a computer make theirs such a PITA to work with.

Haha I know I could never use a computer like that. Guess they don't care that much about computers so it doesn't bother them. My girlfriend's friend's computer is kind of like that but she doesn't do anything on it except chat on ICQ and go on the Internet.

no. BG and DS are left over from when i used the computer. Counterstrike is when my brother is trying to get my sister to play. my sister still plays warcraft 3, tho
