My pet peeve: Giving 110%.

Put everything you can possibly put into it, all the time, energy, money, whatever until you have completely wiped yourself of any last drop of resources--you end up lying dead curled up in a corner. Then just simply put 10% more in.

Being an engineer, it will come as no surprise that these kinds of logical inconsistencies bother me too. The way I explain this to myself is that other people are taking a form of "poetic license" with the meaning of the words they use. That works for me because I have never understood or appreciated poetry either! 😄

I hate that word...impossible...it's just an excuse for something we aren't smart enough to figure out. I truly believe that nothing is impossible. Anything is possible given enough effort, time, and energy.

Impossible is a word that should not exist.

alright then. You go ahead and try to get a squirrel and a dog to mate and produce offspring.

oh, I'll translate to bbhaag: try to cross-pollinate maize and arabidopsis. Good luck with your chromosome segregation!
