Wow. Kind of shocked how the police say they just don't give a flying fvck about the whole matter.

Y'know, most of the police I've met in the Seattle area of Washington are kinda mean or indifferent overall. I have a high respect for the position normally, but the ones around here seem to have a serious chip on their shoulder. Not all, but a lot.

Proving my contention that the police are not going to protect property crimes against citizens to the same extent they do when it's a business making a claim.

it is supposedly a civil matter.

That is such bull$51t.
How about criminal mischief, conspiracy, theft? The DA just doesn't want to do anything, despite the victim wanting to press charges.
There is a guy in Sacramento that's in the poo because he put a cap in the ass of 3 punks ripping him off last week.
cops are saying losing your property is never a reason to shoot at someone.
I wonder if they would let someone flee in a stolen car without taking extreme action that could cause great bodily harm? after all,it's only property and probably insured, just like the money in the bank that they would shoot you over, should you choose to make an unscheduled withdrawal

Not funny. Nice to see that the Tacoma police are still worthless.

Ya, when I saw this on the news it was a big WTF? Anyone could do this to anyone else, and many will try. Craigslist and other such websites are going to have to deal with this seriously.

this is lame; if they really wanted to get those bastards they would. somebody doesn't want the guilty to be caught, or the cops seriously give 0 sh1t about it.

I hope someone doesn't try that in Texas. The result would be a lot of innocent people shot.
