Holy hell. I'm reading the Titan/physics thread. Dude's out to lunch. It's funny cause I managed to post in that thread without obviously reading all of it.

What about the guy at the store where, late one night, the cleaning man says his watch is indestructible and scratch resistant. The poster tells the cleaning man that it's not and they bet $500. The cleaning dude brings in the watch and the OP does his work on it (don't want to ruin the story for anyone). Did that happen this year?

Are these awards more for AT member on AT member ownage?

edit: here's the link:

I don't consider Loke's as an ownage... When I think of ownage I think of someone posting something dumb and then getting raped for it. What Loke did was pretty damn memorable, but not ownage.

WTF did the voting thread get locked? Are the mods embarrassed of their own actions?

Usually in this situation it is because he could have used this thread for the voting that is all. They felt another thread was not necessary.

Do you realize how much work goes into making a poll that HUGE?! Besides, Pwnage of the Year has become a tradition around here.

My Metallica thread got locked, too. The joke was lame but that thread was going places. Bah.

I'm not the mod, I am just saying that is why (probably).

CTrain called "ownage" in this thread by corporatethug about a waitress chasing him for leaving only a 15% tip. Of course, the thread degenerated into the typical ATOT whining about tipping/not tipping, and the ownage was pretty buried. CorporateThug wisely abandoned that thread and managed to come out somewhat ahead by never responding once shens was called.

Also, was it this year that it was discovered that a few members in video were on the dole from one of the video card manufacturers (or their advertising agency)?
