You can have your own lot on the MOON and receive a MOON DEED with your name on it for just $14.95 plus the standard $3.00 PLANET tax. Yes, we get screwed for taxes even in outer space but it's still worth it to own your own little piece of heaven......and if you want your very own WORLDWIDE INTERNET WEBSITE to let your friends and the rest of the world know just how smart you are for buying your LUNAR LAND before the cost skyrockets the total cost will be only $29.95 plus the $3.00 PLANET tax. Even if you don't want to own your own piece of LUNAR real estate there must be someone that you would like to see go live on another PLANET....and this is the perfect way for you to show your love and affection!.

$ 14.95 Deed to your yard on Uranus. I don't know that I want The Register of Deeds anywhere near Uranus. Or Myanus for that matter. This guy is a nutter.

If you think that will honestly be considered valid in 50 - 100 years when the next moon landing takes place.....

heh, yeah, not that this is even slightly believable and therefore different, but it used to happen quite a lot with the eightees real-estate scams... there's a valid type of deed that is called a quit-claim deed; it basically says that you give up all claims on a piece of real estate to someone who gives you consideration ($) for it. it's archaic now, but still legal. problem is: ya never had to have any claim on the land in the first place. anyhow it worked for scamming grannies out of their retirement money:( , but, since THIS one isn't even slightly believable, iz no biggie. but very legal. anyone want to buy some lunar land?

Who owns the moon property that is being sold, and how did they come about acquiring it as apposed to someone else? What government has control of it? What are the taxes for, and how do they benefit the tax payer? If the government in control of it ends (no government lasts forever), how do I know that my moon property will remain mine? What laws pertain to the moon currently (toxic dumping, DWI, etc)? We don't really own the land if we have to pay taxes, and abide by laws to use it.

Ah! the great con artists of yesteryears .. its nice to see that someone has taken on one step over technology.

This guy is making money like crazy. Apparently 300,000 people have bought land on the moon off of him. I think this is funny as hell, what a good idea. Anyway, of course he doesn't own the land, no government will ever recognize his claim.

hey does anyone want the lunar atmosphere? I'm selling one million cubic feet of lunar atmosphere for the low low price of $9.99. You can put satellites and stuff for when all the rich dudes finish buying their land and start to live there... and want their NBA season pass on TV. Email me at toomuchmoney@isnotgoodforidiots.com

Anyone know if you also get the "air rights" with your property.

Intelligent sources tell me the Chinese actually own the moon...

I don't buy this whole Moon purchasing business. The moon cannot hold life anyways unless something is done to the surface and enclose it with an oxygen producing bubble. :D
