your second sentence is nonsensical.

He's saying the guy sounds a lot like Ben Gibbard.

The Postal Service was amazing btw

My second sentence was nonsensical? What?

And yes, I too think the Postal Service is amazing. I rely on them to deliver my mail and parcels all the time. :)

Everyone told me I would love Owl City because im a big fan of Postal Service.

They were dead wrong. Ben Gibbards lyrics are original and clever. Owl City sucks ass

Yeah that must happen to a lot of people. Never thought it was fair of Gibbard to be labeled as "tween emo" he is really a generally underestimated talent.

Plus he's married to Zooey Deschanel, i mean come on!

You asked what a copy of something looks like, a nonsensical question. A copy of an object inherently looks like said object.

oh come on the auto tune is pretty minor to the structure of the song, at least have a legitimate review of the song blankly hating anything popular is so Kurt Cobain.

(not a huge fan of fireflies, love Kurt Cobain for the record)

Anyone who likes music should hate autotune and any "artist" that uses it. If you can't sing, you shouldn't sing. I can't tell if this guy can sing or not, as he uses autotune.

As for a review of it, it's derivative pop beats with autotune singing. Not much more to be said. No one cares about lyrics except for 13 year old girls. By the way, autotune is pitch correction software. It allows "singers" to go off key and have it artificially fixed for them.

As an example of what musicians are:

Musicians

Not a musician
More evidence

I'm not a huge fan of Death Cab, but it's a great example of what talent needs to be placed into music to make them valid artists. Music made electronically isn't all bad either, but they need to bring something unique to the table(Daft Punk, Crystal Method, Chemical Brothers, etc.). Making a fake version of alternative bands that can actually perform isn't music.

When I first heard Owl City I thought it was Postal Service. I was like wow, Postal Service has a new song out! Having said that, I actually really love Owl City now. :) I think he actually has really great lyrics, all the songs are fairly catchy and I don't even like electronic music that much. I bought both albums and have listened to them quite a bit, they never seem to get stale. Well, the Dental Care song is the only one I get a little tired of, but the rest are great.

I pulled fireflies off of Amazons freebee page and it's catchy. Not good enough I'm looking for more songs by them, but I didn't delete it.

The last time I pulled fireflies out of the Amazon, the Postal Service demanded more postage.

I like Vanilla Twilight and one or two other songs. I originally grabbed the album for the Fireflies song to hear it, but ended up liking a couple of other songs better.

My 3 year old loves it, and I do too. It's not deep thought provoking music, it's fun music.
It's not for everyone, especially those with sticks in their butts.
I'd rather listen to it than Souja Boy or other complete retards with no creative talent.
I like the 8-bit NES sounds in some songs too. :)
