Just grab a big bowl and fill it with cold water. Preferably salt water. It numbs the pain perfectly.

The burn doesn't hurt (just a sharp jolt huh)... the healing process is a SOB...

Ice, lots of ice, for as long as you can stand it. Medical ppl use to say no to icing a 1st
or 2nd degree burn but now they do it. This must be done asap after the injury.

Tell me, was it a curling iron.........
