i know, but this 20% off thing does not work, GOW was jus the first item i tried. Has anyone else had any luck getting the discount to show. The op's link takes me to some sort of gift finder.
 
If it's not already expired it probably requires a non-media item to be added to the cart for the discount to apply. I had to add a PDA case to get the discount to show with the Xbox 360.
 
generally those coupons are non-media only, or at least not if you're only getting a media item.

The fine print says that you can't use the coupon for JUST media/books.

Find some cheap filler from another category and then you can use the coupon. Shipping is cheap and tax might save you depending where you're from
 
i did this two weeks ago with the 13% off. :/

btw overstock takes FOREVER to ship the 360. Mine took about 12 days to ship whereas most places will prob get it out to you in 3-5 days.
 
Just got in w/ only 5 XBOX 360s remaining - now says sold out. I had to add another non-media type product (a cheap $6 belt) to get the discount. Thanks santz!
 
I was on the fence for about an hour and decided against ordering. I really feel like there's a pending price drop. I realize that this is speculative, but you can't expect MS to come out and say exactly when a drop will be. When the price hopefully drops and post-die shrink models start showing up in early 2007, then I'll probably bite.

It was extremely hard to resist, though. 😛

And hardware upgrades, this rumor's been dancing around for awhile. I'd love to buy a 360 once the price drops and once the heating problems are taken care of completely.
