Unfortunately living in socal, not much choice but be part of it. Preferred living in a small town like when i was little.

Olive Garden - $10+ for $1.00 worth of nasty pasta and flavorless sauce.

Pottery Barn - the price alone is enough to complain about, but their shipping prices are downright ridiculous.

Maggie Moo's Ice cream - $5.00 for a tiny tub of ice cream? No thanks.

Have you had any pasta that was really good? I've had pasta that was like $30 a plate and it still tasted like trash. IMO olive garden isn't a worse than usual offender.

I buy a garlic and herb egg noodle pasta locally that is very good with a little bit of olive oil and lemon juice.

I also really like a ravioli dish that another Italian place called Biaggi's makes.

I rarely order pasta anywhere though, simply because it's marked up by about 1000%. It's something I can make much better, and for a lot less at home.
