I may work at OSU, but I'm happy to see my alma mater pull the W. Oh, the teasing I will be able to do on monday.

you people take the college sports a little too seriously, i was glad they lost because of that a$$hole on OSU who choked the quarterback, that kind of crap should get you suspended for the season.

Or at least a penalty should be called... I mean, really.... between that and the "incomplete" call.

Sadly, yes. Despite NO starters graduating, OSU is missing one clutch thing that it almost always has... a strong running game. Of course, we did lose a starter due to NCAA violations, but I think Clarett should be beaten like a little red-headed stepchild for being that stupid.
I would agree with you if I didn't have a thing for redheads. ;)

I think that Tressell is taking care of Clarett well. Tressell isn't going to let Clarett play.

ZV

Tressel wouldnt be allowed to let him play. Of course, if he actually goes to the NFL next year, I dont think he'll get much... sure he ran very, very well, but he also has 4 dings against him
-glass shoulder
-runs his mouth like none other
-already has needed a knee operation
-NOT a team player

if Reynolds didnt do that, I think they wouldnt have been playing that coverage on the 70+ yard TD, and I think it would have ended up in OT.

Personally, as an OSU fan, I hope Tressel suspends Reynolds.

Time to thin the herd for the National Championship.

FSU undefeated!? Ha. Everytime Miami played them in hte past 3 years, they lost. OSU had a close game but they are no Miami. Miami isn't playing as strongly as they were last season, but they're comin through. Get ready. We just wiped the floor with FSU in their own house.

Is Parrish actually injured, or just really knocked around?

(I'm not taunting, I just want to know)

Parrish took that hit like a champ. I don't know if he got hurt or not, but I think he just knocked around a lot. I'd check the espn site or something. :) He'll be back for Temple.

Reynolds (OSU linebacker) put his hand into Wisconsin's QB's throat while in the pile

EDIT: and now I'm really gone for the cigar...

After Sorgi was tackled, no44 (OSU) use his right hand to choke on Sorgi throat.
That's why Sorgi was out, he can't swallow or call out play.
The ref was there but did not called it :|

Good thing there's karma !

They probably didn't put it up on the screen for fear of riots. The ESPN coverage showed it over and over. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=232840275 the guy was a bit aggressive in the pile-up and even put a knee into the already downed sorgi's head when getting up.

The knee didnt do cr@p. The hand at the throat, OTOH, was the problem. Knees into heads happen all the time in piles, since its very hard to prove it was intentional.

Next up TCU, then Miami, then Va Tech, then OU.

IMHO atleast 3 out of the 4 will have 1 loss at the end of the season. I hope all 4 lose a game. TCU really doesnt matter though, I just threw them in because they are the only other undefeated team.

Tennesse is the biggest chance for Miami upset, although they sure play badly today.
OU looks good, can't think of anyone who can beat them.

No one said the knee did anything. It was just to add insult to injury. I hope the guy gets disciplined for the choking.

Well, he mentioned it. I'm just saying a padded knee to a helmet doesnt do much/any damage, especially when compared to a throat attack. I doubt the QB even noticed the knee. And I, too, hope Reynolds gets suspended for the throat attack.

Anything can happen in the Big 12. IMHO Virgina Tech is better than Miami, but Im hoping Tennesse upsets Miami and Miami upsets Virgina Tech. Then OU loses to Oklahoma State or Texas Tech.

Agreed. That sort of play needs to be punished.

Did you guys see the retaliation? One of UW linemen sat directly on Ohio's right knee. He was laying on his side and his leg was mostly extended. The weight of the guy bent his leg from out to in. Not nearly as bad as Reynolds action but I did see the QB limping afterwards.
