We are overpopulated. It won't take much for people to die of starvation. Imagine if the entire power grid in the US went down for 2 weeks. Death and famine will reign!

Refrigeration would come to a halt. Pumps for gasoline will not work. Goods will not ship. etc. With a smaller population and more personally owned land to maintain a small garden, this scenario would be less catastrophic.

Lets try 2 kids per couple. That's enough to replace ourselves and would actually result in a world depopulation. Can anyone guess why?

We could probably double if tripple and it would be livable. Look at how dense china is compared to Canada/US. If our side was as dense we'd still live, if china can do it.

And that's why China has a one child policy, obviously.

Yeah true, they are trying to control it as it could for sure grow way out of control, if it's not too late. That's the most humane way to do it imo. Sucks for people that dream of having huge families but with living costs always going up, it's hard to do that financially anyway.

Though, if you get a "oops" and you get a second, what happens?

My classmate who is here in the US from China to study here told me they abandoned the one child policy several years ago.

Damn. They are raising an army.

one that can move in sunlight and cover great distance at speed :Q

Yes, what ever you think. Now, for the other 6.2 billion of us, maybe we should start conserving

I don't want to sound harsh, but may I ask what they are doing in China? Clearly the only way to deal with the issue is mandatory abortion for a couple that already has the limit.

A society with no brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles would suck.
Why?

Pre-colonization of North America levels of population. Need more trees and less noise.
