so im putting together a kind of hand out thats going to explain what overclocking is, why people do it, and most importantly how to do it
this is in aide to educate those members of our computer society that dont really know what to do when it comes to overclocking.....all the members are students so some *free* performance will be welcomed with open arms
i have a few questions...
1)athlon XP's and Durons.....were these all multiplier locked? bar the mobile versions?
2)do any of the AXP mobos have PCI locks?
3) the only way to overclock with intel is the FSB? were older intel chips multi locked? did the older chipsets have PCI locks?
thats all ive got for now il update with more when i get to them
4) do older athlon xp and intel boards have memory dividers?
5) voltages.......what voltages for 0.18, 0.13, 0.09 nm chips?
