Overlay Video

I use two displays in clone mode each in different rooms. With my previous ATI cards, there was an option in CCC that allowed overlay video to be displayed on both displays instead of only on the primary display. I just jumped ship to nvidia and I'm using a 7900GT. Was that option an ATI only feature or am I just looking in the wrong place?

What do you mean by Theater Mode, I don't think the option was called Theater mode.

TV Wizard just set up the resolution and primary display. I'm still limited to overlay on one display.

Theater Mode is ATi's name for duplicating the overlay from the main screen to the TV-out (in fullscreen). NVidia has essentially the same thing under a different name.

Clone mode will always show the overlay on one screen only - neither NVidia's nor ATI's current cards have more than one overlay surface available. Thus, it doesn't clone, but both implementations can generate TV output directly from the overlay alongside a complete desktop on VGA or DVI.

Just checked on a friends ATi, it is theatre mode. And it doesn't always have to be in fullscreen mode. I like to have it the same on all displays so I can walk between the two rooms and see the exact same thing. theater-mode.jpg

So what's it called under Nvidia?
