yes. basically, it's an athlon 64 2800+ with a 6800. a 6600 gt would better suite ur needs if you were to not upgrade cpu and mobo.

I disagree... an xp-m at 2.2 is.. about a 3300+. Hardly a bottleneck...

xp at 2.2ghz is a 3200+, which is the equivalent to an athlon 64 at 2800+.

It will be a botle neck at low resolutions but at high resolutions it will be better than the 6600gt. I had a 6800NU softmodded to 16 pipes and 6 vertexs on an XP 2.3 gigs and I got pretty much the same fps on doom 3 at 1280*1024 and 1600*1200 (which was still very playable) 43 and 42 respectively. I would go with the 6800nu over the 6600gt. It will perform better once you upgrade the cpu down the road

well, yes, but it'd be more of an upgrade path. i think you'll eventually upgrade ur cpu and mobo, so sometimes its better to have a bottleneck for intentional upgrade purposes.

just an FYI, when i benchmark my 6800U@465x1300 on my 2.6ghz Barton(with a 440mhz FSB) the score equals roughly a 6800 ultra extreme(450x1200) on an AMD 64. so, yes, a barton at 2.2ghz and stock FSB will certainly be a bigger bottleneck. its not a terrible bottleneck, but still a bottleneck eitherway.
