There's something hugely wrong with my computer. It started beeping like an ambulance (not from the speakers) whenever I played Counter-Strike Source (after a while) and I thought it might have something to do with overheating. Turns out it is, Motherboard Monitor said so. So I open up the case and put a large fan from the outside to blow into the case, and the temperature goes down a little. But, the ABIT EQ (I have an ABIT IS7 motherboard) says that 70 degrees celcius (the normal operating temperature) isn't too bad, 85 is bad. The problem it had, however is that the SYS fan for the PSU is running too slow (see picture). Anyway, I thought these might just be bugs with the programs and they were lying to me, but I checked the BIOs and it agreed. I don't understand it. The CPU fan is running at more than acceptable speeds and the CPU is overheated, and the PSU fan is going slowly. I haven't noticed any change in performance, though.
Just so you know, I have a P4 2.8 Ghz HT processor and an ABIT IS7 motherboard. I've got 6 fans - two on the case (one is disconnected at the moment and a large room fan is taking it's place), one on the motherboard and one above the CPU. There is also one connected to the power supply.
Please, someone suggest something. I have no idea, should I get a new PSU or a new heatsink? I'd greatly appreciate any help. Cheers.
