overclocking...

So here is the current spec (Stock)
Intel 2.4c 533fsb, Abit IS7, Corsair pc3200 512x2 dual channel

I cranked up the cpu fsb from 133 to 161 with NB Strap manually set at PSB667 (i think it was psb). This has been runnign stable...gives me 2.9 or 2.92 Ghz spped. the ratio is 1:1.

Now when i change the ratio to 5:4 (thats the only other option, besides By SPD)....I still cant get any more overcloking from it. Something's weird...i thought if I change the cpu/ram ratio, i would be abel to overclock. im getting a new cpu soon, but just wanna see how far i can crank this up? any ideas for improvement...

btw, im running the cpu on a zalman 7000cu.
