I read an article from the Gannett News Service in our local paper titled "Speed at any price? Overclocking yields benefits, risks for PC users" by Daniel Greenberg. The article contained the usual misinformation and errors. One part of the article did catch my eye- when the author was talking about a PC user who was overclocking. "He also overclocked Voodoo 3 video cards for better 3D graphics, and was considering overclocking his mouse for extra precision in multiplayer games."
Although I am not the most elite overclocker dude, I have read this and other computer enthusiast boards for some time, and have never seen anything on overclocking a mouse. I am hoping that the Overclocker in the article was feeding the author a line BS. That would be hilarious. But I have to ask was he pulling the authors chain or is there something to this?
