Ok, i know this is a pretty old setup (about a year ;) ), but im wondring if ANYone has had luck OCing dual 366's (celeron, OEM) to 550s on a bh6 (the dual abit socket 370 board... at least i think it is the bh6.. its been a while since ive looked at the manual).

anyhow.. ive tried about everything i can think of to get these to oc to 550's (dual). i can get each chip individually to 550, but that is about it!..

thanks

yea.. thats the one.. heh.. thanks..

oh, btw: just to let you all know the system specs as-is:

bp6
dual celeron 366s OCed to 450's (at 83MHz FSB, and NO problems at this speed)
Aureal Vortex II PCI
VooDoo3 3000 AGP
Intel Etherexpress Pro 10/100 PCI (NIC)
2940UW SCSI adapter (Adaptec, PCI)
one HDD (IBM, SCSI, 10020rpm)
one burner
one 12plex (tray)

again.. i have no problems at all with an 83MHz fsb, which is why im a bit perplexed by my inability to go up to 100MHz considering that it will clock all the components at normal clock rates (bar the CPU) wheras the 83 OCs everything in the system

thanks

I had that board about a year ago. I initially had some celeron 400s at 500 but then went down to the 366@550. Did you try active cooling on the bx chipset? If you don't wanna try that, at least make sure you have some heatsink paste in between the green heatsink and the chipset. It should help out for stability.
