im running a 1.2 athlon on a motherboard that runs Phoenix BIOS. There are absolutely no options for changing any type of memory, or processor settings. Is there a way to get rid of this phoenix BIOS and put another type of BIOS or some type of option that will allow me to tweak around the settings. Im tired of this 1.2 so i would like to squeeze some more power out of it by overclocking it.

You can't change to an entirely different type of BIOS. Depending on the board, it's possible someone has "hacked" an official BIOS to make one that has more options available. They just modify the BIOS to allow access to extra options that the board maker doesn't. However that's of course a non-official BIOS, and there's no guarantee of it working, and there may still be physical limits to what can be changed (often voltage can't be modified within the BIOS if the original BIOS didn't allow it).
