BF2 has been better for artifact testing than anything else for me. on my 7900GT, ATI tool would pass at 875 but 3dmark would shimmer. At 850 3dmark would be fine, but bf2 showed the occaisional artifacting. 825 would be fine in bf2 until 4x fsaa was used. Now im running 800, which seems to have no problems, and bf2 looks great. All in all, I would have to say a good deal of the reported overclocks online might be stable(ie able to run without crashing), but are prone to artifacting on certain games, which isnt my definition of playable.
