Overclocking Video Cards (E.G. Ti4400)

Go to guru3d.com and download the nvidia reference detonator 28.90 drivers w/ refresh rate fix and coolbits. install the drivers first, reboot, then double click the coolbits registry file. You do all of the adjustments thru the display properties.

Regarding overclocking an nvidia based video card, most do it with riva tuner, a free dowload, do a google search for it.

You can also use Powerstrip which is a real cool little app too. Overclocking is done through software or the coolbits hack usually.

There are a lot of programs which you can use..GeForce Tweak Utility is my fav, there's Riva Tuner, Powerstrip, NVmax, and you can also just overclock from the display properties.

I never noticed before that there is an overclocking tab buried in the display properties, but there is.

While we are on the sybject, what other display settings do people recommend? What antialiasing setting, anisotrpic filtering, buffer-flipping, etc?

RivaTuner is my favorite. It has a built in 60Hz refresh rate fix, along with overclocking and more options than you'll ever need.

It also creates a registry database backup.
