Overclocking video card

Hey I'm using "Powerstrip" to over clock my MSI NX6600. I'm playing America's Army on all Ultra High graphics setting on 1024x768 resolution at 90 FPS. I've overclocked my card like this:

Core Clock: 300 Mhz to 350 Mhz
Memory Clock: 500 Mhx to 525 Mhz

AND I'm seeing no preformance change!! what's wrong here?

CPU limited perhaps?

Perhaps you have VSync enabled and your monitor's refresh rate is at 90?

Oh, and 1024x768 is ugly. Pump it up to 1280x1024 or 1600x1200 🙂

You can't see anything past 60fps so why bother? Also if your refresh rate isn't that high, it won't even display higher. It may output more, but it won't actually show it.

ok, my CPU is fine. and my refresh rate is at 60 Hertz (dont know anything about that)

I would like to go higher res but when ever i do every thing gets so small i can't read it, is there a way to make it look normal?

1024x768 is a cpu limited res. I know for my card at 1280x1024 I see a 1-2 FPS difference @ Ultra but at 16x12 I see 7-10FPS differences. It really is waht res you are playing at
