I've got a PPGA Celeron500 w/ FC-PGA/PPGA slot1 adapter & original heatsink/fan. Would it be all that hard to overclock? Obviously, I know I need a different heatsink/fan. What would be the best one for this CPU, but still be cheap?

Where can I find DECENT documentation on overclocking it, and keeping it STABLE?

The PPGA Celeron 500 was manufactured on the .25 micron process, and is pretty much at the top of the spec....the limit for this process is somewhere around 550-600MHz, so I think the very best overclock you can manage, even with cooling and voltage tweaks, is about 563 (7.5 x 75).

you won't get far with a cel 500. The multiplier is too high.
