I detected optimal settings at 500 core,1.44 memory but I can run 3d mark and 3d games at 508,1.45 with no artifacs. Is there a 3d test I can test for stability? Is this safe?

Edit:: My temps are 42c idle and about 55c load

You might want to use ATItool for artifact scanning and 3DMark06 for stability. (ATItool will perform artifact scanning on non ATI cards.) Most folks like to back down a few mhz from their max OC for regular use.

I ran 3d mark 06 at 502 1.45 scored 3331. No artifacts
Ran Ati tool and I started getting errors at 501 core, 740 mem.
So I can run it at 495 core, 1.43mem safe ? what do you think?

Edit: Wow this card runs faster than A 7800GTX. I need more pipes!
One other thing, while running the test my temps where at 69c is that safe?

Speaking of needing more pipes on this card...I've heard that there are disabled pipes on the card is this true of the AGP version? I've never looked into it , so does anyone know? I've been poking around this afternoon , looking for more info on my card. And guess I'll just have to try RivaTuner when I get home tonight.

Well it depends, but I've seen this card up to 700mhz for the 7800GS+, most common high clock though I've seen is around 600mhz, 500mhz should be easily attainable. I believe there are voltmods or bios updates or some third option that will allow you to hit those 600mhz clock speeds.
