overclocking T-bird 750 to anything past 850

I have the Abit kt7-r mb, and i cannot get my Tbird 750 to run stable over 850. I did the pencil trick before i overclocked it; so what could be wrong?

the temp is around 42C when I am at 850. :-(

If you haven't upped the voltage, you should try that. If that fails, another thing that you can try to do is to redo the pencil trick. Sometimes that could help.

Most likely your problem in bad bridging.
Use "Rear window defogger repair kit" manufacturer Loctite.
Make sure you put 3 layers and let it dry for 6-8 hours. Pencil trick doesn't always work.
