i OCed my CPU (see sig), but while gaming, the computer freezes (sometimes blue screens). does this mean it needs more Vcore? temps are 40 idle 45 load during this heatwave we are having in LA (normally, they are 36 idle 40 load). thanx

yup...

raise your vcore... run some loops of 3dmark2001 or run prime for at least a little bit (6 hours at least)...

or as thugs would recommend do some mad crazy divX encoding... now that'll stress your cpu like no other..

Could be ram ocing or timings too aggressive as well....If you can't get stability with vcore boost then I would look at that as well...

I'm having a similar problem! Can't get compie stable at 2.3 GHz. I'm guessing it's my RAM, but in your case you have PC3200 whereas I have PC2700 running 1:1 with fsb (200). Have you tried a different PSU so you can get more stable power going to your system? A lot of people are talking about getting new PSU's for more stable rails...so I guess you and I should both give it a try. I also need a more quiet PSU :)

the ram is a 200mhz @ 2-3-3-6 (not tight at all) @ 2.7V. when at 2200 mhz, i had not problem at all running the ram @ 2-2-2-5
