ok, i didn't want to believe it, but it seems that my overclocking has caused the windows clock to speed up. mind you, the actual bios clock is perfectly fine when I check it, but windows will basically turn a minute into 50 seconds.
I don't know why this is happening, but it has been for the past few months. i just underclocked recently because i'm havinig heat troubles in my room w/ a broken AC. When I first OC'd it, there were no problems. currently using an asus a7n8x dlx and an xp2400+@2.1ghz(166 bus). got somewhat of a dud, can't seem to go higher, at least can't do it at 1.75v.
So, anyone have any suggestion (other than the obvious stop overclocking). I know there are time update utilities, but i don't want to have to install 3rd party software.
Thanks,
Linh
