I have a Asus P3V4X mobo and P3 550e and i haven't tried overclocking it. Is the software ( freeware , shareware ) like SoftFSB and others recommended or should i stick with the changing the FSb via the BIOS. Anyways which softwares are good for temperature monitoring and other benchmarking.
 
It's alwaz best to do it in bios. Bad things may happen while in windows.

Besides, oc'ing using the P3V4X is easy. I trust that you know how to oc using the P3V4X.
