1.) I currently have my 2500+ oc to 2.2 ghz and vcore at 1.75. My vcore was at default 1.66 and I was getting a rounding error in prime 95...upping the core seemed to stop this but now my temps are 8-10 degrees higher 43 idle and 52 under load....is this normal and are these temps ok?

2.) After oc to 2.2 ghz I didn't see any significant improvement in 3dmark 2003 or 2001...maybe 100 pts max.....should I see more improvements than that? (66149 in 2001 and 6140 in 2003)

3.) My vid card oc to 441 core and 360 mem....im afraid to go higher than this because of heat...I have stock cooling.....would it be ok to up these some more? ( I really haven't seen any major benefits yet)

4.) Is it better to change the fsb or the mult. when oc the cpu? I want to try and get at least 2.3 ghz out of it

I usually like to keep the barton to below 50C especially if you are running a boosted vcore. Thats just my opinion though.

You will see more of a permance boost from overclocking if you are doing it by overclocking the fsb but that requires good memory.

I think thats plenty on the vid card, really you wont see much of a boost from more, maybe 1-2 undetectable fps, but i guess that would be good if you are a benchmark-aholic.

1) Those temps seem fine for that AMD chip...I wouldn't worry about it...

2)cpu's I have seen have little effect when you have a kick-ass vid card like that. You can getter better results tweaking the memory or ocing the system memory then a few overall mhz...

3)I don't know what stock core/mem speeds are so I can't really guage it. I would up the vagp power a bit (1.6-1.7v) if you plan on ocing a bit. Many forget to do this....

4)It is best to keep the cpu in synch with the memory in an amd system so whatever you memory can do set that as you max fsb. I assume you have an agp/pci lock on that mobo otherwise stick near the 133,166, or 200 fsb and change the multiplier accordingly.

You have pc3200, right. The 2500+ barton is what 1.83ghz with a 11multi and 166fsb....I would either run 10.5x220 if your mem can handle the 440ddr. The higher fsb would give more performance in 3dmark along with the higher memory speed and bandwidth. Otherwise if you like aggressive timings and not running it too far out of spec run 11.5x200 = 2300mhz...

have a Barton that i have OCed to 2.3 with a 210fsb and a 11x multi, I have found this to be pretty quick. As for your vid card thos oc's seem on the low side as I have a 9600 oced to 472/351 with 1.6v
