Overclocking question

I have a 750 Tbird that I wanted to change the FSB from 100 to 133. I connected the L1 bridges on the CPU but when I attempt to access the FSB adjustment line in Soft Menu III on my Abit KT7A RAID motherboard I can't select it. Does that mean that I probably didn't do an adequate job of connecting the L1 bridges or is there something else I need to do to access the FSB adjustment line in the CMOS setup?

You unlocked the multiplier which is different from the FSB. FSB setting is independant of the CPU. I have an Asus A7V and you can't change the FSB until you set it to manual (in BIOS).

Having unlocked the cpu, you could also mess with the multiplier for added effect.

e.g. multiplier = 8 FSB=100 ->TBird 800
e.g. multiplier = 9 FSB=100 ->TBird 900

You should probably start with the multiplier first anyway...

I learnt that today...

I'm an idiot
