Overclocking question

So I just OC'ed my 5930k to 4.2 ghz with stock voltage at 1.268 volts and while under load it hit 65 to 70 degrees Celsius is this normal? or should I underclock?

Load temps seem fine to me. Nice OC. I dont know about your processor, but I believe the max safe range for SB/IVB processors is 77C. Just look up the intel datasheet on your proc, it should have max safe temp ranges.

Looks like max safe temp is around 67C. The extra 3C probobly wont cause your system to instantly explode, but it might degrade slightly faster if you run it at those temps for extended periods of time (12+ hours probobly)
