Is there a website out there that has really clear instructions for overclocking AMD Barton processors? I'm getting a 2800+, and 512MB pc3200 RAM, so someone mentioned I should OC the processor to match the RAM. Only problem is I have never overclocked a CPU before, ever. Thanks :) And as far as realistic expectations go, with stock cooling how far do you think I could safely go?

Hey, I'm greatly interested in this topic as well. I've browsed the suggested site but it seems llike most of the overclocking info simply showed results of overclocking but did not really provide instructions for newbies like us. I have never overclocked before and from what I can tell there is a lot of testing required as well. Is there a site with step by step instructions with explanations? Thanks!

Volcanos aren't doing so well in the cooling department, I'd go after a TT SLK-9xx (whichever one fits you) or a SP-9x (7?). Those are the two best coolers for AMD systems.
