would overclocking a thunderbird 700 to 1100 (watercooled) cause stability problems? which motherboard would be better, the abit or asus?
i was originally going to get a 700 t-bird and overclock it to whatever possible. then i saw a review that showed the duron to be better suited for overclocking (and that the t-bird crashes and is hard to overclock over 950?). however, i saw a comparison chart showing the t-bird to be much faster than the duron at the same processor speed (no sh*t). so i'm thinking: should i overclock a t-bird to 950, a duron to 1100, or would a t-bird be stable at 1100?thanks for reading, and sorry for stupid Q!
