Okay here is the scoop...

I need the advice and opinions of fellow members. I'm in the middle of a busy period right now, and have not been able to read every post and FAQ, so I anticipate some comments along those lines. That being said, here we go:

I have a 100FSB 1GHz T-bird on a KT7A-Raid. I penciled it, through on an FOP-32 and was able to overclock to 145x8.5 pretty easily. Ran stable for a week.

One morning I woke up, and my computer would not boot. Black screen, nothing else. I reset the CMOS and now the T-Bird will only run at default (10x100). If I set it to anything else, even (5x100), the computer will not boot and I have to reset the CMOS once again.

Is it possible I have a bad CPU or MOBO? Is it possible that my pencil traces wore off? Please help.

Thank you in advance.

It's possible that the lead wore off. Try redoing the L1 bridges with a defogger kit or loctite.

Sounds like the pencil job failed. Try the pencil again. If it works, do yourself a favor and re-do it with Loctite conductive paint.
