I decided to overclock my Athlon 900 and did the whole pencil trick to unlock it. Once that was done I had Windows booted at 1ghz and all seemed well. I ran Quake 3 for a couple hours and then some Prime95 and no errors were ever encountered. But when I went to play Tribes 2 last night I noticed some issues. In Tribes 2 some sound effects were missing occasionally and when I quit out after about an hour of playing and then opened my web browser and winamp Windows locked soon after with a nice buzz coming out of my speakers. Clocking down to 950mhz got me a blue screen after a bit and so now I am back at 900mhz. What I am looking for is some suggestions on how to get it back up to 1ghz and stable. Is voltage the answer? Thanks

Thanks. I will try it when I get home today and will let you know how it turned out. This is my first time overclocking an Athlon so it's a learning experience.
