I posted this before about 2 weeks ago, and i guess know one seemed to care. I posted a possible oc'n plan that i asked if it would work or not. My plan:
I want to oc my ram from ddr400 to 500 at 1/1. I wanted to ask if it would be safe to go from stock to 250fsb 9xmp, and ldt/fsb to 4x without effecting performance or stability.
I have a san diego core 3700 which is 200fsb stock and 11xmp, the ldt/fsb is 5x (as you fellas already know). But would it be safe to change all these settings at once?
Again to go from stock and just change everything at once without doing increments from the following above. Of course i would have to change the timings first, right now they're at 1.5-2-2-5 @stock voltage. I was thinking if i had the ram at ddr500 i should start with some respectable timings of 2-3-3-6 and work my way up. Note though: If you notice, i'm just trying to oc the ram and keep the cpu stock for now, and then if its stable just change the mp to 10x so its running at 2.5ghz.
Well guys does it sound like a plan?
