So far my best stable OC is 2.6Ghz 1.25Volts Vcore, 325Mhz = 1.3Ghz FSB, 487Mhz = 974Mhz Memory 4-4-4-12 2.2 Volts, NB Voltage 1.6 SB Voltage 1.5 everthing else defaults...

Is anyone else higher than that? If so what are your bios settings and cooling methods?

you are pushing that FSB too much. Even if its prime stable, you will run into problems, especially if you have SLI and especially if you game. I have the 1.6 vcore, 2.2vdimm, 1.415 vFSB, 1.6 NB, 1.6 SB and I cannot get it 100% stable above 300 MHz. I mean it will pass Orthos even at 320 MHz, but any 3d application crashes like a champion. you can do voltmods for all voltages, but I highly discourage you from doing it unless you can watercool the NB. If you can, the do the pencil mods, and clock away.

my advice is dont go over 300 FSB with that board.

also anandtech got 318 MHz out of it in their review.

Well, 325 let me play BF2 for about 5 hours, and watch 2 DVDs without any hickups. It's odd though, if I go 1Mhz higher, it won't post.

P.S.
It's incredible to see BF2 on max settings at 1920x1440 res, 2x anti-aliasing play absolutely PERFECT even in high effect areas... WOW... But I can't read players names! They are WAY too small. Hehhe

2560x1600 with all settings to high and 2x AA here. Loving every minute of it. I could do 4xAA but it would go below 60 fps in firefights.

Anxiously waiting for 8800GTX and 4x AA

:D

try 400x8 @ 1.375 that's what alot of the DS3 guys call the "sweet spot". disabling the advanced cpu settings like eist is supposed to help as well.

Jag that Vcore is way to high for whay your processor is at. I assume when you say Chilly you mean it is under single stage, you should only need 1.5 or possibly 1.55. C2d doesn't start eating voltage until 3.85 ghz+ especially when you have it frozen :).

I mean gigabyte DS3 users, I didn't even have to raise the voltage on mine to remain stable until 3.2ghz :D

your system is the pimpest thing I've ever seen yoxxy. lol

Yes, DS3 users get to run a half legged hacked sli, with old drivers.

90.xxx drivers were not hacked to this moment.

An Nforce 570SLI board is not going to do 400FSB.

dude my actual vcore is lower than yours. I have 1.6 set in the bios, actual vcore in windows turns to be 1.52 :) thats how s_hit the P5N32 SE is.

and also I have an ES chip with B0 stepping that likes a lot of volts to get up there... sigh, I love your 4.2 ghz... i wish I could get that high, but my stability goes to screw itself right after 3.9 ghz. Im thinking of dumping this vapo and just doing some watercooling.

edit
also love your mobo :)
what do you get in 06? I got just over 11K... I was wondering what you get with that mobo and that GX2.. anyways if you get higher its not for long, the bright side of having an nforce mobo is G80 x 2
:D :D :D

.08 of vdroop, wow you are right about the qaulity of that mobo. 3DMark 06 11,100 is my best, but I have not really tweaked the OS. I think I may be able to get ORB #1 once I tweak some stuff and do a fresh install. I will publish project then. I think you can hit higher B0 actually didn't take that much voltage I had an A4 or A5 can't remember. B1 would be nice though...I think you are only limited by mobo. Water is overated don't ditch the vapo, they are great.

Will trade my 6400ES and a 20" Samsung LCD monitor for a faster CPU. Maybe e6700? =P heheh STUPID CPU SUX!!!!

Well, I did some more fine tuning. 1Ghz DDR2, 2.56Ghz CPU, 1.2 Vcore. 320Mhz 1283Mhz FSB. Totally stable so far, I ran into a glitch when I have PEG link mode on faster at 1,300Mhz FSB

No, no it doesn't.

Your mobo is crap for overclocking though.

My watercooling rig made my room even hotter it seemed like then the vapo. Depends how good the radiator is. I also wouldn't trust any picture that the inquirer has showing the G80 with barbs.

It sux cause it's multiplier locked, it has only 2MB Cache, and it's not a x6800. Course it's better than the 3.2Ghz HT P4 w/ 1MB Cache I had to use for a week or so. =( THAT sucked.

Mike

P.S.
I can't seem to get my corsair 1066Mhz above 1Ghz no matter what the settings are, IE voltage latencies... I can run 998 w/ 4-4-4-12-24 just fine though. But even if I go to 5-5-5-15-30 it won't even post at anything over 1Ghz... ?
