Overclocking P4 with stock heatsink and fan?

Has anybody overclock for months with stock HSF? My 1.4 goes to 1.6 with hardly any temp increase. 36C IDLE and 46C FULL LOAD is this OK or not?

Sure your fine I've OCed mine for 8 months with a $9 Cool Master cooler with a bony little fan.

Yeah, I've had mine from 1.7 to 1.9-2.0 for a few months now with the retail heatsink (arctic silver II thermal grease though instead of the stock stuff).

Great that's what I wanted to hear. I did notice that this is alot cooler than my 1.3 T-Bird rig.
