Overclocking my Socket A 850

I don't have a mobo with multiplier adjustments so I have to cut and pencil the bridges on the chip. I'm gonna try for 1050MHz b/c that only requires cutting 2 bridges. My main question is do I have to connect the L1 bridges besides modding the L3, L4, and L6 bridges to make it o/c? I also am curious what the best way to cut the bridges is. I tried an Xacto knife but that was a no go. Thanks

I see in some articles that they used a engraver tool.
