Question overclocking my ram?

So I have 2x4 hyperx fury 2400mhz CL15(hopefully I got this right,in any case,it's 2400mhz) and I was wondering if it's possible to bump it up just a little without any tradeoffs other than boosting the voltage a little

You could try it, just be sure to test for stability. I suspect gains will be minimal though.

I think much of that 2400MHz stuff could do about 3000MHz with some voltage/timing changes. That's where my 2400 topped out.
Which chips are on it ? hynix AFR ?

The only thing we can really learn from that is that it's single rank and the stock voltage is 1.2v. Both of which are good news for overclocking.
Try setting the voltage to 1.3v or 1.35v and you can likely get 3000MHz

Run memtest and it will tell you what memory chips it has. Then you can google for what settings people have with the same type.
After reading thru the amazon comments section the chips could be micron, hynix, or even nanya. Kingston is known to change the chips they use even with the same product/model.
