Hey, does anyone here have the Gigabyte UD3H?

I've never OC'd a board like this and needed some help on the motherboard part of the settings. Theres no volt's just settings such as stanard high turbo etc...

I use a i7 processor thats a Sandy bridge

A direct question would be, when setting up Load Line Calibration;

Would I want the vcore dropping from 1.320 to 1.308 or the vcore rising from 1.320 to 1.338

when using "turbo" it drops, when using "extreme" it rises

Are you entering the "advanced mode"? Hard to believe you can't changed voltages at all once you're there.

There's really just a handful of guys that are good at this and likely to reply, and you've barely given 24 hours. Maybe they just had things to do today. Settle down give it some time.

Board is in my sig. Just raise the multiplier and left everything on auto. The board will raise the voltage as necessary. LLC wasn't necessary until approaching 5. You will only need to raise vcore when you are getting to the limits. At a certain vcore (can't remember off the top of my head) auto vcore will stop going up.

ok cool, yeah when i hit the 4.5 mark it seems i cant go under .320, but when i change LLC from extreme to turbo it changes the vcore a bit, still learning this board is very different than every other ive owned...

do you know of any do-it-all oc guides for it?

Honestly I did not look for any. Just played with it for a day or two and got the hang of what works and what doesn't. Just for reference, my max was 4.9 GHz, vcore was between 1.34 (idle) and 1.48 (load). Cores were hitting 72-80 C. I usually keep mine at 4.0 GHz and haven't had any problems.

I agree, LLC is odd on this board. Way too many settings, and it seems better at raising voltages than keeping them consistent.

Agreed, it is actually messing my overclock up.
if i put a certain voltage and extreme it shoots up to where i dont want it to, and then if i add vcore and put it to turbo it shoots up way less, but if i put that same vcore with extreme it adds to the vcore in the OS

confusing as hell!

FridayThe13th, you get one bump a day in here. And if it doesn't get any more replies after a couple of days, we ask that you stop bumping it.

-Thanks

bump

So you are ignoring the mods. Next bump gets you an infraction

what are you talking about? he said 1 bump per day and i only bumped one per day...

are you trying to count the bump he warned me about?

Technically your most recent bump is on the same day as your last, but only for time zones earlier than PST. It's quite literally all a matter of perspective. You now have your one bump for the day.

Would you go ahead and tell us specifically what settings you are having difficulty with now? What speed/voltages are you at now? What bios version are you running?
