Overclocking my 9600 Pro

Hell all,
I'm somewhat new to this overclocking thing, so i need some advice. What kind of program should i use(and where) to overclock my Radeon 9600 Pro, if it matters, i'm using a Barton 2500+, Corsair XMS 3200(512), and an Epox 8rda3+ MB. If anyone has overclocked their 9600, what kind of Core and memory speeds should i be looking for

I have a ATI Retail 9600 Pro so I'll do my best to help you out. Locate and download a good overclocking tool. For ATI cards I like a combination of ATITool and RadClocker. I then used ATITool to find the maximum stable overclock (after running for about six hours) and used RadClocker to hold the clock speed found by ATITool. I did this because on my system ATITool can't keep the OC'ed settings for some reason. This is basically all you have to do to overclock your card.

Tips:
1. If you don't use ATITool increase speeds in about 1Mhz increments, it may not seem like much but it makes a big difference.
2. You OC a card off it's stock voltage so don't bother with the AGP voltage.
3. The amount of OC you get out of a card is based in part on what memory it has and how hot it runs. Better cooling can make a difference.

On my 9600 Pro (400/600) I got it to 465/315. Some other people got theirs higher but mine's running with a passive cooler so I can't go too far.

Good luck!
