Overclocking Memory

I currently have an old Abit Bh6 motherboard, and want to upgrade it from a 300a celery (running at 450 of course) to a 1.13Ghz uP *8.5mult x 133FSB). Problem is, can my old 100 mhz memory be overclocked to 133mhz, or do I have to totally replace it.

Also, although the BH6 MB has the "theroetical" capability of running at 133mhz FSB at a 8.5 multiplier, I've actually never seen it done. Is the BH6 stable at this high of speed?

Don't want to pay out for a 1.13ghz chip, if it is not going to work in this MB (then I'd just as well upgrade the MB too, and get something even faster). Would just upgrade it to 850mhz, but its the exact same price (sometimes even higher) as the 1.13ghz...

Thanks for your time.

I had an Abit-BH6 for the longest time. It doesn't support the 133MHz bus as it doesn't have the proper dividers necessary. You could use a Powerleap adapter but it's gonna cost as much as an Abit-ST6 (the best Tualatin-ready mobo in my opinion) or an Abit-VH6T or an ASUS-TUSL2C.🙂
