overclocking memory

i'm not overclocking my 2100 and so far it's only at 200X100. i'm not done w/ it yet so i'd probably go higher. my question is what should i do w/ the memory? so far i haven't done anything to change its timings, and i think it's at 8-3-3-4 or something like that. i'm using 2x256 buffalo pc3200 sticks w/ the ch-5 chip on them

the ch5's are pretty good from what i reckon and 3-3-4-8 is way inder par for buffalo. try dropping them to 2/2/2/6 and see how it goes from there. these timing are very optimistic for any ram b ut they are what we all aim for once we have the ram at a speed we like.

yeah go as high as you can with 2-2-2-6 timings and default voltage
then up the voltage as needed till you max it out
then you might get a few more mhz by dropping the timings slowly to like 2-3-3-7 at first
just don't go too high with the voltage maybe 2.9 for an initial cutoff point

you should be able to get a few more mhz if yur already at 200
good luck
