What I did when I was first interested in OC'ing my PC (2004) is I googled "guides to OC'ing xxxxx processors/socket" with the xxxxx being the processor/socket you own or are interested in. A lot of hits took me here to Anandtech and I began my research. I would say for about a month or so, a few evenings a week, I would read till my eyes hurt on all the terms, methods, ins and outs of OC'ing.

With plenty of research and reading/learning you'll really be thankful once you start the process. Good luck!

No problem cheif. Also wanted to add on top of your research, also research some nice HS+F's/coolers to see what kind of temperatures you can expect as temp is a big factor and you want longevity by keeping things cooler :)

Definitely yes, i have checked some water cooling and fan reviews on Youtube. So can't wait to try them. Alright thanks again for your help. By the way is there anything wrong with over cooling?
